Tracey Burnett

Executive Director

Tracey Burnett is a dedicated nonprofit executive who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and youth. She has worked for many of the top national youth serving organizations in the country, including Big Brothers Big Sister, Girl Scouts and Make-A-Wish.

She has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, growing services to scale, streamlining operational efficiencies, optimizing resources, and prioritizing mission-driven partnership development and stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors. She is collaborative communicator that prioritizes board development and the cultivation of fundraising initiatives.

Her love for music and making a difference in children’s lives makes her new role, as Executive Director of Children’s Music Fund, “a dream job.” Tracey is excited to be leading Children’s Music Fund into the next phase of growth.

With a core belief that music is healing, bringing awareness to the work that Children’s Music Fund is doing through its Music Therapy programs and highlighting the research being conducted to scientifically support the positive health benefits being made in children’s lives, is an absolute honor.

Tracey has a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent psychology from West Virginia University. She is also SAFe Agile certified, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and completed project management training at the AVTECH Institute of Technology. These professional achievements provide a solid foundation of knowledge to lead business transformations and deliver organization value through efficient operations and quality standards.

In addition to her service work for children and youth in the non-profit sector, she has volunteered as a mentor for Victoria’s Emerging Leadership Program and The Institute for Ethical Leadership with Rutgers Business School, and supported fundraising efforts for the Mark “Slides” Relovsky Memorial Golf Tournament.

Tracey is a world traveler, loves live music and is grateful for the numerous blessings in her life.
