Healing Through Music Gala 2023 — Join us for this incredible event to celebrate our 20 Years of Healing. This night of fundraising supports Music Therapy programs for children affected by chronic conditions or life-altering illnesses.
Whether this is your first Healing Through Music Gala or you are a long-time supporter of Children’s Music Fund (CMF), this evening holds special moments to help you understand the influence Music Therapy has on the health and well-being of our CMF Kids and their families.

Diego Garcia, Twanguero
Spanish Latin Grammy Winner, songwriter and guitar bender, is herald as a guitar prodigy who allies musical styles with astonishing ease, Twanguero is recognized for his “fingerpicking” technique, versatility and very unique “twang” sound. He knows how to bring together classical Spanish guitar, flamenco, Latin rhythms, tango, country, rockabilly, jazz, and even surf music!
Your Support Helps CMF Kids
George, at just 16 years of age, experienced a life-altering injury to his spinal cord, making him a paraplegic. In his own words, here is what Music Therapy means to him: “It took me to a better place. I felt calm after listening to the music. Thank you.”
Miles, a young boy diagnosis with cancer who had to undergo multiple rounds of chemo treatments. In a thank note from his parents: “He [Miles] uses music as an outlet to express himself…while he was going through treatment having music as an outlet really helped to keep his mindset on getting through the rough patches…Miracles happen, and it definitely takes a village!”
