Children’s Music Fund is devoted to delivering Music Therapy services to children facing chronic conditions and life-altering illnesses. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we offer our services completely free of charge to families, allowing them to focus on their child’s healing journey without the burden of financial concerns.

If you are a parent/guardian or health professional caring for a child or young adult (aged 0-26) who has received a diagnosis of a chronic or life-altering medical condition and could benefit from Music Therapy services, we encourage you to complete the inquiry form below. Our dedicated team will reach out to you following a review of your inquiry. Currently, we are primarily providing our services through Telehealth sessions to ensure accessibility and safety. Your child’s well-being is our top priority.

Emma’s Story

While Children’s Music Fund typically funds Music Therapist visits to children in hospitals, during the coronavirus crisis, we have shifted our therapy to in-home video sessions. Emma was the first child to benefit from our Telehealth Music Therapy. The photo above was taken during her first session with Eiress, one of our talented Music Therapists before her next round of chemotherapy. Eiress was able to transform Emma’s fear of butterfly needles, a device commonly used to deliver intravenous (IV) chemotherapy, into a beautiful butterfly song. Emma will continue to receive Telehealth Music Therapy in weekly intervals, as she overcomes her fear, pain and anxiety while singing the butterfly song, and many other soothing melodies to come.
