Artist Sebu Simonian from the American pop duo Capital Cities, is a long-time supporter of Children’s Music Fund. Listen as he shares his first-hand experience with one of our CMF Kids at our special event called Rockstar for Day that took place at the Village Studios and tell why he supports us.
Our young patient used poetry to express his emotions about coping with a chronic-illness and shared his personal thoughts with Sebu during their music session. Together, Sebu helped our CMF Kid to turn his poem into lyrics, then wrote the music to make it into a song. They finished the session with a one-of-a-kind music recording and a memory to last a life time for our CMF Kid. Sebu is now planning to release the single. Remarkable act of kindness and demonstration of how music heals. Thank you Sebu!
