Comedy Night with Maz Jobrani

You’re invited to our annual Comedy Night with longtime CMF supporter Maz Jobrani! Proceeds from this Laugh Factory event benefit our music therapy programs.

Hosted by Tehran and featuring Omid Singh, Kira Soltanovich, Tiffany Haddish & Amir K.

Two drink minimum applies.

About Maz Jobrani:

Maz Jobrani currently co-stars in Superior Donuts, a new CBS sitcom. He has had three Showtime standup comedy specials, Brown And Friendly, I Come In Peace and most recently, I’m Not A Terrorist, But I Played One On TV, which is now available on Netflix. He performs stand-up around the world, including the Middle East where he performed in front of the King of Jordan. In the Spring of 2016, he performed at the White House where he had the privilege of introducing Michelle Obama. His tour also took him to the Kennedy Center, where he headlined a show as part of their 2016 season. He was a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour, which aired on Comedy Central in 2007. Most recently, Maz starred as the title character in the award-winning indie comedy, Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, a film that he co-wrote and co-produced, now available online on all major outlets. He has co-starred in many films including Disney’s The Descendents, Sydney Pollack’s The Interpreter, and Ice Cube’s Friday After Next. With over 50 guest star appearances, Maz can be seen regularly on television’s most popular shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Blood, and Shameless. He is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me, and has given 2 TED Talks. His LA Times Best Selling Book, I’m Not A Terrorist, But I Played One On TV, was published by Simon & Schuster.
